⭕️Mashad Organization: Over Four Million People in Darfur Are on the Brink of a Full-Scale Humanitarian Catastrophe – We Urge the World to Save What Remains of Humanity⭕️

The Mashad Organization expresses its deep concern over the rapidly deteriorating and alarming humanitarian situation across the Darfur region—particularly in the cities of El Fasher, Tawila, Nyala, El Geneina, Zalingei, and El Daein—amid ongoing military operations and a near-total absence of any effective humanitarian response. Daily life in these areas has turned into relentless suffering and imminent death, with acute shortages of food, healthcare, clean water, and basic necessities, compounded by the spread of diseases and a sharp rise in mass displacement.

We, at the Mashad Organization, hold the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and their allied militias fully responsible for this catastrophic decline. Their widespread attacks and continuous grave violations have targeted civilians, infrastructure, and essential public services, resulting in the near-collapse of life-sustaining systems across most of Darfur.

Field estimates indicate that more than four million men, women, and children in Darfur are at risk of death, starvation, and disease at any moment unless immediate and urgent action is taken to save what can still be saved. This escalating humanitarian disaster places a clear legal and moral responsibility on the international community, as enshrined in the provisions of international humanitarian law, the Geneva Conventions, and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Silence or delay is no longer an option—it amounts to complicity in what may constitute crimes against humanity.

Mashad Organization sounds the alarm and stresses that continued disregard for this tragedy will inevitably lead to its further escalation and the spread of its catastrophic consequences to wider areas, with irreversible outcomes. Accordingly, we call on the United Nations and international humanitarian and relief organizations to act immediately to establish safe humanitarian corridors and ensure the direct, unrestricted, and sustained delivery of essential aid to those in need.

We also urge global media outlets and civil society organizations to shed light on this ongoing catastrophe and apply pressure on all relevant actors to bring an end to the suffering of millions in Darfur.

The lives of innocent people are not just numbers in reports—they represent a shared moral and humanitarian responsibility. Time is running out, the crisis is expanding, and death is outpacing relief.
