The Mashad Organization is following with deep concern the unfortunate developments unfolding in the Al-Dabba area of Northern State, which signal a dangerous slide toward increased social tensions and divisions that threaten civil peace and the national social fabric.
We express our profound regret over these events and firmly reject any practices or interventions that incite strife and fuel hatred among the components of society. We stress the urgent need to uphold reason, prioritize the greater national interest, and rise above all political or regional considerations. Sudan today is in dire need of unity and reconciliation—not further division or descent into futile conflicts that serve only the enemies of peace and stability.
The organization calls on all parties to immediately de-escalate and engage in responsible dialogue. We also urge the traditional leadership in the state to play its national and historical role in promoting calm and leading reconciliation efforts with wisdom and impartiality, drawing on their deep-rooted societal standing and lasting positive influence.
We further appeal to national stakeholders and civil society organizations to intensify awareness efforts, promote values of social cohesion and peaceful coexistence, and confront divisive rhetoric that seeks to tear communities apart. We express grave concern over the actions of certain political forces that seem to leave behind seeds of chaos and discord wherever they go.
Mashad Organization reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the principles of comprehensive peace and social justice, and its full readiness to cooperate with all sincere national actors in the pursuit of safeguarding stability and building an inclusive homeland. Preserving Sudan’s unity and the safety of its communities is a shared responsibility that admits no hesitation or neglect.
