We welcome all genuine efforts aimed at achieving a just and comprehensive peace in Sudan, provided that all parties involved in igniting and financing the war are excluded. The participation of any state that contributed to fueling the conflict represents an insult to the victims, a blatant violation of national sovereignty, and a step toward dividing Sudan and imposing a new form of colonialism on the African continent.
If the Sudanese people—and the peoples of Africa—do not rise to defend their dignity and future, a new chapter of submission and fragmentation will be written in the history of the continent.
