خطاب حمدوك الأخير يمثل محاولة مكشوفة للتنصل من الشراكة التي أبرمها مع قوات الدعم السريع في أديس أبابا، بعد تصاعد الإدانة الدولية والإقليمية للانتهاكات الجسيمة التي ارتكبتها تلك القوات بحق شعبنا. ويسعى من خلاله للهرب من تبعات العقوبات، غير أن المسؤولية عن الدماء التي سُفكت لا تسقط بالتقادم.

دماء أهلنا لن تُهدر، وسيحاسَب كل من شارك في حرب 15 أبريل وكل من تورط في الحروب السابقة، مهما طال الزمن. نحن على يقين بأن الطريق نحو العدالة قد بدأ، وأن الحقيقة ستتكشف للعالم مهما حاول المجرمون إخفاءها أو التلاعب بها.
